Exploring Etsy: Coffee, Tea or Me?

I love coffee, can't start the day without it.  Well, actually, I can....but it's ugly.  And a  cup of chai tea, sends me soaring to my happy place the minute I take a sip.  So, here's a tribute to my favorite caffeine infused drinks...

Exploring Etsy *Neopolitan* Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry

In my house, we are a neopolitan family.  My little boy is a vanilla lover, my little girl, strawberry (because it's pink) and as for me, it's chocolate all the way.  Instead of having three different cartons of ice cream in the fridge, neopolitan is the obvious choice.  Neopolitan always reminds me of my family.  Different tastes, styles,  and blends coming together to live in a delicious harmony.  Cheesy, but true.

Exploring Etsy: If I Can Make It There....

Every once in a while I get nostalgic for a taste of home...a Nathan's hot dog at Coney Island,  a warm pretzel drizzled with mustard, a ride on the A train,  a walk in Central Park, shopping in the Village, a stroll at the South Street Seaport, a game at Shea.  I've lived in Kentucky for eleven years now and adore it; the lovely horse farms, the races and history of Keenland, the glory of Rupp.   Occasionally, I want skyscrappers, I want crowds...I want my city. I want.....New York.

Exploring Etsy: Feel Better Soon

Sorry I've missed a couple of posting days. My little boy has been sick, and although I dearly love my readers, I'm mommy first...blogging queen second :)

So, keeping with the my main focus this week, today's Etsy Tribute to the artistic side of  being sick and getting well.
